Founder and Owner

Prior to starting her professional work life, Diane was educated in the world of small business via the “mom and pop” grocery stores that her parents owned and operated.  She grew up literally living behind one of the stores where she not only learned about business operations, but also about the personal commitment and tradeoffs required to be successful.  After leaving the corporate world in 2008, Diane founded Catalyst For Business, LLC in order to re-connect with her roots, and to apply her broad business experience and passion for helping people in support of the small business community.

Education, Associations and Personal

Diane holds a BA, in French Culture and Civilization from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona.  Certified as a Six Sigma Greenbelt and in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), she is also Six Sigma Blackbelt trained.  Diane is certified in APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management and Material/Capacity Requirements Planning.  She is proficient in French and familiar with Spanish and Russian languages.

Diane is a member of the Scottsdale Professional Networking Association and the Arizona Small Business Association (asba) where she volunteers as an Advocate and as a Mentor.  She is an adjunct instructor of business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

A transplanted southern California native, Diane has enjoyed living in Arizona since 1990, where she shares her life with her husband, three sons and a dog. When she is not busy working, Diane enjoys game nights with family and friends, reading, cheering Phoenix sports teams, and supporting Boy Scouts as an adult leader.
